Trans States Airlines has ordered 25 Jetstream 41s, with options on a further 35, for a total cost of $420 million. The St Louis-based carrier will take its first J41 in January 1995.

Regional Airlines has ordered three Saab 2000, with delivery beginning May 1995. The French regional has also ordered three EMB-145s with delivery starting in the second half of 1996.

Britannia Airways has ordered four Boeing 767-300ERs. The deal, including four options and spares, is worth some $800 million. The UK charter airline will take delivery around April 1996.

Aircraft Leasing and Management has brokered the lease of three Fokker 50s from Prime Aviation of Norway to Norwegian Air Shuttle. The aircraft were due to be delivered at the end of December.

Mesa Airlines has ordered 40 Beech 1900D aircraft worth $160 million. Deliveries will begin in 1997. Elsewhere, Mesa is to pay $118.5 million for 10 de Havilland Dash 8s and sublease two further Dash 8s from UAL Corp as part of a 10-year extension to its United Express agreement.

Garuda has sold 17 DC-9-32s to Australian Aircraft Sales of Sydney.

Silkair has ordered two Fokker 70s for delivery in March and October 1995.

Hapag-Lloyd has ordered 16 Boeing 737-800s worth $700 million. Deliveries to the German charter operator will start in 1998.

Air UK has leased two BAe 146-300s, through the Asset Management Organisation.
