Garmin has launched a new web portal at AirVenture designed to help pilots manage, purchase and update the company’s databases.

Fly.Garmin.com displays detailed information about five databases – FliteCharts, SafeTaxi, AOPA airport directory, Jeppesen NavData, Obstacles and Terrain – and determines whether they are current. The website also offers one-time downloads or annual subscriptions that enable users to install databases in three easy steps, without the need for “unlock codes”.

Fly.Garmin.com is available immediately to Garmin aviation customers in the US, UK, Ireland and France. In September, Fly.Garmin.com will be available to the rest of Europe and Australia.
