Grob Aerospace is to support its legacy airplanes in the US with an Authorized Service Facility in Moriarty, NM.  Composite Aircraft Repairs has been selected as the support center.

Claude Chidiac, managing director for Grob Aerospace Inc says:  “Over the last three to four months we realized that there are some 300 Grob aircraft in the US.  From gliders, G109s to G115s.

“These weren’t necessarily being well supported, the company had neglected that part of the market.

“And as a result of our spn marketing we’re also supporting the legacy airplanes,” he says.

Composite Aircraft Repairs will provide support for the airplanes including spares, maintenance and a parts catalogue.

“There are some 60-70 gliders in Moriarty, it’s sort of a glider Mecca because of the geography and weather.  Composite Aircraft Repairs has tremendous experience in carbon fibre and fiberglass aircraft,” explains Chidiac.
