Fly for longer and reduce overhaul costs is the message RAM Aircraft is sending to Oshkosh visitors.

The Waco, Texas, maintenance, repair and overhaul company is promoting its engine and airplane upgrade packages, including the Cessna 414A Series VII TS10-520-NB engine.

According to marketing director Mark Wennin,  the ROI package includes new nickel cylinders which ensures zero wear over traditional steel. “The interior barrel of steel cylinders corrode and wear, meaning costly cylinder changes, top overhauls and damaged cams and lifters. By changing to nickel cylinder barrels, you completely eliminate wear and corrosion.”

Wennin revealed the latest RAM upgrade is for the Beechcraft Bonanza airplanes A36, F33, A36TC, B36TC and B36TC. “The Beechcraft Bonanza has proven to be a very popular airplane and will undoubtedly benefit from the upgrade. I’m confident it will prove popular both with pilot-owners and commercial operators alike,” he adds.
