US Airways in about nine months will begin retrofitting its Airbus A330-300s with the same new business-class product that it offers on its A330-200s.
"The A330-300s will be getting the same 'Envoy Suites' as the A330-200 starting next fall when the aircraft go through a complete cabin overhaul. We hope to have all aircraft completed by May 2012," US Airways director, strategic planning Aaron Ruhl says in the carrier's latest employee newsletter.
Forming the basis of each suite is Sicma Aero Seat's new Cirrus lie-flat seat. Panasonic Avionics' eX2 in-flight entertainment IFE platform is also offered.
The IFE system allows each passenger to access a wide variety of content and applications via 12.1in, adjustable touch screen monitors.
