California-based digital communications company Oxford Media has agreed to acquire portable in-flight entertainment (IFE) unit and content management specialist Innovative Media Solutions (IMS), which offers IMS handheld entertainment systems for airlines as well as content loading solutions, applications and data management services. The deal is set to close at the end of the month.
