New Zealand's Pacific Aerospace has delivered a PAC 750XL single-engine turboprop to US distributor Utility Aircraft. The Hamilton-based manufacturer has sold 18 sky-diving configured aircraft, with options for a further 260. The 750XL can carry 17 jumpers, or eight tandem pairs and a solo, to 14,000ft (4,300m) in 12min. Floatplane, medical evacuation, passenger and freight versions of the aircraft are planned.
