New Zealand aircraft manufacturer Pacific Aerospace has rolled out its 600th PAC 750XL utility aircraft.
The aircraft is destined for Australian Aerial Survey.
The Hamilton-based company has been manufacturing aircraft for 50 years and says it is the largest aircraft designer and manufacturer in Australasia, with aircraft delivered to every continent except Antarctica.
Pacific Aerospace, which has recently upgraded its engineering, production and marketing and its facilities at Hamilton airport, says it is experiencing strong demand for the 750XL and is now holding contracted orders into 2008.
Chief executive Damian Camp predicts the company will double its production output over the next two years.
