Flight International online news 08:30GMT: Privately owned Pakistan carrier Airblue has placed firm orders for two Airbus A330-200s and two A320s.
The deal also includes options on another six A320 narrowbodies and is valued at list price at about $800 million, says the European manufacturer.
No engine or delivery details are available at this time.
Airblue launched domestic services just over a year ago and currently operates three A320s on dry leases managed by International Lease Finance.
The Karachi-based carrier this month is launching a service to Dubai. It hopes to add service to India, Saudi Arabia and the UK, and plans to expand its domestic network
