Philippine Airlines (PAL) has expanded its codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways on flights between Manila and Abu Dhabi, effective from October.

With the expansion, the number of codeshare flights between the two airlines will increase to 14 flights a week, or twice daily, from 12 weekly previously.

The flights are operated by Etihad, which deploys Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route.

The airlines first signed their codeshare deal in May 2007, said PAL.
