Publicly-traded Philippine company Baguio Gold Holdings has acquired an 82% stake in Philippine Airlines (PAL). No major changes are expected because Baguio Gold is controlled by Luico Tan, the Filipino businessman who also controls the six companies which have sold their stakes in PAL.
