Fledgling Philippine operator GrandAir wants to launch regional services in direct competition with flag carrier Philippine Airlines. GrandAir, which operates two A300s domestically, has applied to serve 11 Asian countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong.
