Under a $400 million package of contracts announced yesterday at the show, Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Services will provide engine maintenance services for United Airlines' JT8D, JT9D, CFM56 and V2500-powered aircraft. The agreements cover around 400 engines.

The contracts comprise a five-year deal covering the airline's JT8D-powered 727 and 737 fleets, a four-year contract for the JT9D-powered 767 and V2500-powered A319 and A320 fleets, and a four-year contract relating to the airline's CFM56-powered 737s.P&W's overhaul centres in Georgia, Connecticut and Norway will carry out the work.
