Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is to acquire part of Portsmouth, UK-based H+S Aviation's small-engine overhaul activities, as part of its "ongoing strategy to create a strong and efficient global service centre network". The sale involves P&WC PW100, PW901A and PT6T overhaul lines. Meanwhile, H+S has formed H+S Proptech, which will focus on the repair and overhaul of propellers for European regional airlines.
