An expanded presence in the Far East is on the horizon for Pratt & Whitney Canada with the addition of a Singapore parts and distribution centre for its customers in the Pacific Rim region.
The Singapore centre, which opens later this year, follows the inauguration last November of a similar facility in Amsterdam serving customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As well as carrying a large inventory of new parts, exchange accessories and line-replaceable units for all P&WC engine models, the new centre will assume responsibility for part orders currently processed through P&WC (SEA) in Singapore and P&WC (A’Asia) in Brisbane, Australia, both of which specialise in engine repair and overhauls.
Both the Singapore and Amsterdam sites are supported by a 24/7 call centre operated by Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Component Solutions.
P&WC’s global customer support service comprises more than 30 P&WC-owned and designated overhaul facilities; field support representatives strategically located on all major continents; mobile repair teams available around the clock; the largest pool of P&WC rental and exchange engines in the industry; and advanced diagnostic capabilities.
