Irish recruitment firm Parc Aviation has become the latest organisation to get approval to conduct safety audits for airlines.

Parc has recruited a team of safety professionals to carry out operational safety audits (IOSA), now that International Air Transport Association (IATA) approval has been secured.

IOSA is an internationally recognised system used to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. The programme has established an auditing benchmark that all IATA member airlines have agreed to undergo.

Parc Aviation chief executive Tim Shattock said: “IOSA Audit Organisation status enables us to continue providing a range of added value, integrated aviation services to the aviation industry.”
