Over 1,750 exhibitors from 42 countries are registered for the 42nd Paris air show at Le Bourget, 15-22 June. Flight International's guide provides a complete run-down of who they are and what they are displaying.

HOW TO GET THERE

If travelling from central Paris by car, it is advisable to allow plenty of time, as heavy traffic is common, especially before 08.00. Motorists travelling from the centre of town should take the A1 motorway towards Lille and Charles de Gaulle Airport. A slip road before exit 5 leads directly to the air show car park, which is well signposted.

Visitors arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport should take the express metro (RER) Line B from airport Terminal 2 to Le Bourget. The metro journey takes a few minutes only.

To reach Le Bourget by Metro from central Paris, take Line 13 from Gare St Lazare to Port de Paris (Saint Denis), linked to the show by shuttle bus, or take Line 7 from Opera to La Courneuve, then take the bus 152 to Michelet/Le Bourget. A shuttle bus is available from there.

Le Bourget is about 25min from Gare du Nord in central Paris using the RER. Take Line B5/B3 to Le Bourget and then bus 152 to Michel/Le Bourget.

To get to the show by bus from central Paris, take Line 350 from Gare du L'Est or Gare du Nord to Aeroport Le Bourget; or Line 152 from Porte de la Villette to Michelet/Le Bourget

 

OPENING TIMES

The 42nd Salon International will be open on Saturday 14 June for a preview to members of the press only. Representatives must hold bona fide credentials issued by the show organisers. During the day, the French President will open the show, and each exhibitor will be informed of the timetable for this, or access restrictions caused by the ceremony.

Sunday 15 June is a public day. From Monday 16 to Friday 20 June the show will be restricted to professional and trade visitors only. The public will be re-admitted on the following weekend (21-22 June). Opening times for trade visitors and public will remain the same throughout the week - 09.30-18.00.

 

TICKETS

Trade tickets cost Fr150 ($26) and may be purchased in advance from the show organiser. Industry visitors can pay Fr150 at the door if they provide proof that they work in the industry. Public tickets cost Fr55 and can only be purchased on entry to the show.
