USA-based MRO firm AAR is expanding its reach across Europe and Asia with a larger supply of parts and cargo capabilities. This show will mark its first time exhibiting with subsidiaries Telair, Nordisk and Airinmar, which it acquired in late 2011.

AAR recently expanded its parts availability in Europe with a new Amsterdam distribution hub, which will lead to reduced lead times and shipping costs in the region. Through Airinmar, AAR now provides component repair management services in addition to providing parts.

AAR also now has the capability to create cargo loading and handling systems, through its subsidiaries Nordisk Aviation Products and Telair International. Nordisk constructs unit load devices from Kevlar to produce containers that are 30% lighter than the industry standard. Germany-based Telair makes cargo handling systems for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
