The integration of Bental Motion Systems' MicroBat 275 electro-optical payload on Innocon's Micro Falcon unmanned air vehicle was announced here on 15 June. The MicroBat 275 can be mounted either facing down under the vehicle or looking forward at the front of the platform.

MicroBat 275 is a 350g (12.3oz) stabilised payload equipped with a Sony colour daylight camera mounted on two motorised elevation and azimuth gimbals. The gimbal's motion control uses a closed loop servomotor using feedback signals from gyroscopes, accelerometers and encoders to stabilise the line of sight.

Bental's starter generator systems is already integrated on Innocon's UAV platforms. Bental's MicroBat family is designed for various platforms and UAV classes including small vertical take-off and landing types. The Italian army uses the MicroBat 275 with its Ibis rotorcraft UAV.
