Tailwind Technologies has formed Hartzell Aerospace as "the consolidating platform" for its aerospace companies. The company, which operates a general aviation business under the name Hartzell Propeller, has acquired Industrial Tube Company, Electrofilm Manufacturing Company and AcousticFab. As a consequence, Tailwind's capabilities span environmental control systems, APUs, composite structures, circuit design and sound attenuation.
