The growth of its aerospace business has brought Hiwin Technologies to Paris for the first time. The company is the first ballscrew manufacturer certified to ISO 9001 (in 1992) and 14001 (in 1997). It is the sole supplier of aerospace ballscrews in its native Taiwan, and also supplies linear motion and control technologies.
Hiwin's aerospace products include ballscrews for the air-conditioning system on the Boeing 777; aircraft engine cooling plates for General Electric; and ballscrews for missiles supplied to the Ministry of National Defence in Taiwan.
