French regional and business aircraft MRO provider Enhance Aero is growing its capacity with a new site in Italy and expansion plans at home. The company has taken over the former Air Dolimiti hangar in Trieste, which has meanwhile moved its maintenance to Verona. The location, close to the Italian-Slovenian border, was chosen because of its proximity to Ljubljana-based business aircraft operator Linxair, with which Enhance Aero signed a 10-year MRO deal at the EBACE business aviation show in Geneva in April. Operations are due to begin in September and will initially focus on Embraer ERJ-145/Legacy as well as Cessna business aircraft.
