Messier-Bugatti has unveiled its WABSIC wheel and brake landing surveillance system which has been developed for the Airbus A380 and chosen for Dassault's Falcon 7X. The three-in-one system has been developed from the French company's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). WABSIC includes the TPMS, a brake temperature monitoring system and an oleo pressure monitoring system, which measures shock absorber oil pressure locally. Like TPMS, WABSIC uses radio transmission to eliminate contact between the captor and receptor.
