Garuda Indonesia has placed a definitive order for 25 Airbus A320neo aircraft, according to the manufacturer's chief operating officer customers, John Leahy.

The initial announcement was made in the absence of Garuda officials, including chief executive Emirsyah Satar, who has been unexpectedly delayed.
