Aircraft lessor GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has ordered two Boeing 747-8 Freighters, its first order for the type.
It has also ordered eight additional Boeing 777-300ERs.
The 747-8Fs, which are powered by GEnx-2B engines, will be delivered in 2014.

GECAS chief executive Norman Liu said the lessor is "actively marketing" the freighters and has some "prospects" for placing them.
The 777-300ERs will be delivered between 2013 and 2015.
