Mumbai-based helicopter operator Kestrel Aviation has ordered a pair of AgustaWestland AW119Kes configured for VIP transportation.
Due for delivery in the second half of 2013, the light single-engined rotorcraft will join two of the type already in service with Kestrel.
Powered by a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B engine, the AW119Ke can seat up to six passengers in its VIP cabin.
Meanwhile, the airframer has also delivered a GrandNew light twin to fellow Indian operator Nirma Group.
The latest helicopter is Nirma's second of the VIP-roled type. It will be supported under a three-year deal with AgustaWestland's Indian distributor OSS Group.
