LAN and TAM parent Latam Airlines Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with GE Aviation for a 10-year OnPoint CF6 engine MRO deal.

The OnPoint MRO agreement for engines powering the Boeing 767 is valued at more than $500 million.

"GE created a tailored solution for Latam Airlines Group that combines its OEM knowledge and services experience to ensure our airlines will have the lowest operating costs for the CF6-80C2 engines," said Jose Maluf, vice-president of fleet and engines for Latam.
