UTC Aerospace Systems says that it will provide nacelle maintenance for Polish flag carrier LOT's fleet of Boeing 787.
Under the agreement announced at the Paris air show, UTC Aerospace Systems' Prestwick service centre in Scotland will perform MRO including unscheduled maintenance and provision of rotable nacelle component loans.
The first European carrier to take delivery of the Dreamliner in late 2012, LOT has already taken delivery of three of its order for eight 787s.
UTC says the deal follows a similar agreement it has with LOT for the service of its Embraer 190s.
