UK aerospace engineering specialist Marshall Aerospace has launched Series software, a system electrical rating integration evaluation progamme.
The software models an aircraft's loading under varying and distributed power architecture scenarios, to assess the consequences of equipment upgrades and modifications, said Marshall Aerospace.
The programme will assist operators and MROs that are required to "submit proof to the aviation authorities that proposed changes to an aircraft will not affect safety, under any mode of operation or envisaged fault condition", the company said.
