Le Bourget-based sister companies Aerovision and UniAir are displaying for the first time their Dassault Falcon 50 business jet modified for aerial filming and photography.
Imminent European approval for the midsize business jet will pave the way for charter company Aerovision to begin operations on behalf of television and film companies and photographers.
The system comprises a gyro-stabilised pod containing digital video and frame cameras that are connected to the recording and broadcast system in the cabin. The images can be broadcast live at high altitude and high speed, says Aerovision.
The equipment can be easily removed to allow for passenger charter operations.
