Brazilian offshore transportation specialist OHI Group, a long-standing AgustaWestland customer, has further committed to the helicopter manufacturer with an order for two AW139 medium twins.
The new order is in addition to OHI's existing commitments for the AW139. Four are already in service and a further three will join the fleet over the coming months.
In addition OHI may look to add to its operation with other AgustaWestland types in future, says the Anglo-Italian airframer.
Although AgustaWestland does not specify which type OHI may order, its AW189 super medium is scheduled for certification later this year and is pitched firmly at the offshore market.
The latest AW139s will be built at AgustaWestland's facility in Philadelphia in the USA and are likely to be deployed outside of Brazil.
