Middle East carrier Qatar Airways placed an order for six more Boeing 777-300ERs at the Paris air show.
The Doha-based airline already operates 25 Boeing 777s, including 15 777-300ERs. It ordered five more 777s in April: two-300ERs and three freighters. This latest order takes its total 777 commitments to 40.
This latest order was previously accounted for on Boeing's orders and deliveries website as unidentified in 2011. All 777-300ERs are powered by General Electric GE90s.
