Sikorsky gave Chilean air force officials a low-key briefing on its S-70i Black Hawk at the show on Monday, as the service considers its long-term utility helicopter requirements.
The nation's air force currently operates one UH-60A Black Hawk in a search-and-rescue role. Flightglobal's HeliCAS database lists this as having entered use in 1998.
Sikorsky has brought an S-70i to the Paris air show for the first time, with the type now in production at its PZL Mielec facilities in Poland.
