A British Aerospace 146-100 of Spanish regional carrier PauknAir has crashed in north-east Morocco on approach to Melilla Airport in the Spanish enclave of Melilla. The 1983-built aircraft was inbound from Malaga, Spain, in good weather at about 09:00 local time on 25 September. All 34 passengers and four crew were killed. Approaches to Melilla are made visually, although there is a non-directional beacon and distance measuring equipment.
