Direct flights between former enemies Jordan and Israel restart on 7 April, putting into effect agreements reached following the peace accord signed between the two countries in 1994. The 20min flights will be operated by Royal Jordanian subsidiary Royal Wings, with two Bombardier de Havilland Dash 8-300 turboprops, and by Arkia, for Israeli flag carrier El Al, with Dash 7s.
