Nalini Ranjan Mohanty is replacing C G Krishna das Nair as chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics. Mohanty previously headed HAL's MiG complex in Bangalore. SkyTeam alliance partners Air France, Delta Air Lines and Korean Air have named Bernard Frattini as chief executive officer (CEO) of the airlines' US cargo joint venture, SkyTeam Cargo USA. Frattini is currently vice president of Air France Cargo for North America. Tom Nolan, currently Delta Air Logistics general manager, will be the joint venture's vice president (VP) sales and marketing, while head of Korean Air Cargo's New York office Jin-Hong Kim becomes VP of network service. Gulfstream Aerospace has named Wolfgang Schneider as VP, central European sales. Schneider joins Gulfstream from Cessna where he was director of sales in central Europe. Alan Pellegrini has moved from in-flight internet and e-mail service provider Tenzing Communications, where he was president and chief operating officer (COO), to in-flight entertainment system manufacturer Matsushita Avionics Systems to be senior VP in charge of marketing and operations. Hafthor Hafsteinsson has been appointed president and CEO of Air Atlanta. Previously VP of marketing, he takes over from Arngrimur Johannsson, who continues as chairman. Arnar Thorisson, the VP finance, adds the new position of executive VP to his current role. David Masson becomes VP of marketing having previously been assistant VP. TAG Aviation USA executive VP and COO James Christiansen is leaving the corporate aircraft management company to pursue other interests, having completed the integration of TAG and Wayfarer Aviation, which the former purchased two years ago. He was previously president of Wayfarer. Aviation Sales has appointed Gil West as executive VP and COO. West was previously VP of engine and component technical operations at Northwest Airlines.
