Brian Barents has been appointed to the board of personal jet developer Eclipse Aviation. Barents was most recently president and chief executive of Galaxy Aerospace. PrivatAir has appointed Richard Ziskind as senior vice president private travel and Paul Desalis as vice president corporate shuttle. Ziskind, previously with American Trans Air, will develop business aviation charter services to clients with specialised needs from the company's Connecticut office. Desalis, ex-Virgin Express commercial director, will be based in PrivatAir's Geneva headquarters, and responsible for building corporate shuttle services. Polly Prelinger has been promoted to senior vice president, marketing, at US aircraft leasing company AeroCentury. Mike Johnson has joined UK regional Euroceltic as managing director. Johnson's most recent airline experience was as general manager UK and Ireland for French regional Brit Air. Atlantic Aviation's Flight Services Division has named Doug Shaw as president. He was previously Atlantic's corporate senior vice president. The Teterboro-based division has also named Randall Wood as director of operations. Wood was previously Atlantic's director of flight standards. Executive Jet has appointed Mark Booth as co-chairman of its NetJets Europe fractional programme.
