- Embraer's former chief executive and current chairman Mauricio Botelho has been awarded the US Wings Club's 2007 distinguished achievement award.
- Boeing has named Randy Tinseth (below) vice-president, marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He replaces Randy Baseler, who is retiring. Wanda Denson-Low is replacing Bonnie Soodik as head of Boeing's office of internal governance.
