• FlightSafety International has appointed Rick Armstrong vice-president of simulation. Armstrong joins FlightSafety from the Nordam group. Patrick Coulter has been promoted to manager of its Toronto Learning Centre, and Tasneem Hashmi has been named assistant centre manager of the company's Learning Centre in Toronto, Canada.
  • Aircraft Management Technologies is expanding its executive team with the appointment of Matthew Tobin as vice-president of business development.
  • Safran has appointed new divisional chief executives and an executive vice-president, Michel Laroche, for its newly created Aerospace Technologies division. Laroche's role as chief executive of Snecma Propulsion Solide will be filled by Jean-Luc Engerand.
  • Hispano-Suiza chairman and chief executive Pascal Senechal will take over the same role at Messier-Dowty, while Olivier Horaist is taking over Senechal's former role at Hispano-Suiza.
  • Westar has named Randy Tieszen executive vice-president of operations.
