Bengt Halse, president and chief executive of Saab, will retire on 4 July to be replaced by Saab Aerospace chief Åke Svensson. Halse will remain chairman of Saab's advisory board. BMI British Midland has appointed chief financial officer Nigel Turner and company secretary Tim Bye to the board of parent company, British Midland. Martin Wyatt will replace Adrian Hunt as managing director of Deutsche BA. Jean-Luc Berard is to take over from Alain Cot‚ as vice-president human resources at Snecma Moteurs. Israel Aircraft Industries has appointed Moti Boness president of IAI International, its US subsidiary. Gadi Cohen will replace him as general manager IAI Commercial Aircraft.
