Jeff Roberts has been appointed as group president of CAE's civil simulation and training business unit, replacing Scott. Roberts was formerly executive vice-president of aviation training in the CS&T unit. The US Department of Homeland Security has appointed John Podolak programme manager for its Counter-Manpads programme. He was formerly programme manager for Avisys air force operations in San Antonio, Texas. Gille Morin has been named chairman of aircraft seat manufacturer Sicma Aero Seat, succeeding Christian Novella, who becomes senior VP technology of Sicma's parent, Zodiac. International Aero Engines has appointed Peter Turner as regional VP Asia Pacific, replacing Robert Watson, who returns to Rolls-Royce.
