* Qinetiq has appointed Peter Marino, Rear Adm Riley Mixson and John Currier to sit on the boards of its subsidiaries Foster-Miller and Westar Aerospace & Defense.
* Luxair has appointed Adrien Ney president and chief executive officer as of 1 June, following the sudden resignation of Christian Heinzmann. Jean-Pierre Walesch, deputy chief financial officer of Luxair, will take over as president of the board.
* Raytheon has appointed Torkel Patterson president of Raytheon International. Patterson, who returns to Raytheon from the US Department of State, takes over from Sue Baumgarten who will move to Raytheon Technical Services as deputy general manager.
* Alenia Aeronautica has appointed Giorgio Brazzelli deputy chairman, Giovanni Bertolone chief executive and Antonio Perfetti chief operating officer. Giorgio Zappa, who was recently appointed chief operating officer of parent Finmeccanica, has been named as chairman of Alenia Aeronautica.
* Goodrich has named Jennifer Pollino senior vice-president human resources. Brian Brandewie will take over her former role of president of the company's aircraft wheels and brakes division.
* Rob Spaans is to take over from Kees de Koning as president of Stork Aerospace Industries from 1 May.
* Newly privatised Israeli airline El Al has named Haim Romano new president. Romano will replace Amos Shapira, who decided to leave the airline when it was privatised. Currently, Romano is vice-president of Israel's Partner.
* Liberty Aerospace has named Robert Stangarone vice-president sales and marketing. Stangarone was previously vice-president marketing and public affairs for Safire Aircraft.
* EADS Socata has appointed Nicolas Chabbert vice-president customer support. Chabbert, who previously looked after business development for Mooney, replaces Bernard Veyssiere who will take up another position within parent company EADS.
