* Lufthansa Technik has appointed Burkhard Andrich as head of its engines services product division. He will take over from Gerald Körbler, who is retiring. Holger Dietsch will succeed Andrich as senior vice-president aircraft maintenance.
* Orbital Sciences has appointed Gregory Jones to the new position of vice-president corporate strategy and business development. Jones previously served as the senior director of business development for Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems business.
* Jet Aviation has appointed Toni Gisler vice-president and general manager in Saudi Arabia.
* The North West Aerospace Alliance has appointed David Bailey to head the Aerospace Innovation Centre (AIC). Bailey previously worked for British Aerospace at Broughton – now Airbus UK – and most recently served as manager of technology for Alstom Power. He will be responsible to the AIC management board for the overall organisation, management and staffing of the AIC project.
* VLM Airlines has named Peter Kenworthy commercial director. He will be responsible for further commercial development of the airline, including expansion.
* Gary Bartek, marketing manager cargo development, Kansas City International airport, has been elected to a two-year term as chairman of The International Air Cargo Association. Bartek succeeds Dora Kay, head of international marketing for the Airport Authority Hong Kong.
* Sensis has elected Sean O'Keefe, chancellor of Louisiana State University and A&M College and former NASA administrator to its board of directors.
* Bell Helicopter is consolidating common aspects of its US military and commercial customer service and support functions into one organisation to be headed by Mike Blake, vice-president commercial business and chief service officer. Carey Bond, vice-president customer services, will continue to lead the commercial organisation.
