Aerospace Products International (API) is opening a new Philippines office to serve the Asian, Pacific Rim and Australia/New Zealand markets.

Its new Logistics and Distribution Centre will be located in the Special Economic Zone at Clark International Airport, just north of Manila.

API's new 24,000 sq ft centre will have direct access to its inventory in Memphis, Tennessee as well as centres in Calgary and Montreal, Canada.

Location

"Our new centre will have full internet-based e-commerce ability," says Jerry Schlesinger, president and chief executive of API.

"Significant research went into finding the best location to serve these markets and the Philippines stood out as a leader in many ways."

API has also been appointed an exclusive distributor for Barry Controls Aerospace products in the Asia-Pacific region.
