A RAYTHEON Beech Starship 2000A has been equipped for digital photography by Omni Solutions International. It will be used to collect data for commercial- and military-mapping applications.

The all-composite Starship has been equipped with Omni's Direct Digital Panoramic aerial-imaging system. This includes a high-resolution camera, data-handling unit and a two-frequency global-positioning-system receiver.

Raytheon says that the rear mounting of the pusher turboprops prevents engine exhaust from interfering with the fuselage-mounted camera.
