Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued a tender seeking to acquire a ATR72/42-500 full flight simulator.
The carrier is looking for a brand new Level-D qualified simulator to be delivered immediately, or no later than December 2014. It intends to acquire the simulator on a “lease to buy” option.
Bidders will have to submit their documents by 20 March at 15.00 local time at its Karachi headquarters.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that PIA now operates six ATR 42-500 turboprops.
