Piaggio Aero has teamed with Jet Support Services (JSSI) to offer an hourly maintenance-cost guarantee programme for the P180 Avanti and Avanti II business aircraft. The Tip-to-Tail programme is being offered to new customers and existing operators and provides worldwide coverage of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the twin-turboprop.
The programme covers airframe and engines, but an operator can elect to enrol in only the airframe or engine service, says JSSI. The operator pays a monthly fee based on the hours flown during the previous month, with the cost per hour based on the planned annual utilisation in both flight hours and landings and adjusted annually.
The programme is managed and financed by Chicago, Illinois-based JSSI, an independent provider of hourly maintenance-cost programmes for several aircraft types.
