GTK Rossiya's first Antonov-148, which is also the first of the regional jets to be built in Russia, is being prepared for its maiden flight next week.
The An-148-100B (RA-61701) is pictured in the colours of launch customer Rossiya, which has six on order, undergoing a weight check shortly before it was towed out to the flight line at the VASO plant in Voronezh.
The check confirmed that the aircraft's empty weight, at 21t, is within specification.
The twinjet is due to make its maiden flight on 22 July. Meanwhile, VASO is completing final assembly of two more An-148-100Bs from the initial production batch of six airframes, all of which are destined for Rossiya.
