Singapore Airlines’ first Airbus A350-900 has broken cover, showing the twinjet in the Asian carrier’s livery.
The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines of the SIA aircraft have yet to be attached.
Airbus says that, following the completion of painting, the jet is due to enter the final stages of production and undergo cabin fitting.
It will then proceed to ground- and flight-testing before delivery in the first quarter of next year.
SIA has 67 A350s on order following a recent agreement to increase its commitment and launch a new longer-range variant.
