Lucky Air has taken delivery of its first brand-new Airbus A330-300, also its second widebody.
The Rolls-Royce Trent 772-powered aircraft was handed over to the airline in Toulouse on 27 December, and landed at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International airport on 28 December.

The aircraft, registered B-1059, is fitted with 303 seats in two classes – 24 in business and 279 in economy. Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the 2017-built jet is owned by Hainan Airlines.
In March, Lucky Air took delivery of its first widebody, also an A330, from Hainan Airlines. FlightGlobal schedules data shows that it uses the aircraft for long-haul services from Kunming to Moscow, and from Chengdu to St Petersburg. It also uses the aircraft on domestic routes to Shenzhen and Sanya.
The carrier has said that it is also eyeing either the A350 or Boeing 787 for its long-haul growth. It has a target of growing its widebody fleet to 20 over the next five years.
